So so good. I consider myself a Thai food snob and this Thai hits. We have now been here an embarrassing amount of times and have tried a lot of things… But our favorite is the yellow curry (sweeter than most we’ve had, but man is it yummy) and Pad Si Ew noodles. My children ask for this daily.

Transplant from SoCal where food is pretty tough to beat from Mexican to Thai to donuts and everything in between. Haven’t had much luck finding places not only in Herriman or nearby until now! I loved the pad si ew the noodles had so much flavor! Everything overall was rich in flavor! Looking forward to trying more of their dishes! If you’re on the fence about it just try it. Promise you won’t regret it

This place makes DELICIOUS food, but do yourself a favor and
PAY WITH CASH!!!
I had an unexpected bill my first time visiting, and I refuse to pay the 4% Clover fee EVER AGAIN😔
Something important to know is that this isn't necessarily a sit-down restaurant since everything is served in to-go containers, even if not ordering to-go.
Besides that, I absolutely adore the green curry they serve MM MMM👌

Cool little hidden gem. The yellow curry and pad Thai are both delicious. Nice little chill spot. Owner seems really cool.

I lived in Thailand and I rate every Thai restaurant based on their น้ำตก (beef waterfall) and แกงมัสมั่น (Massaman curry) and this place is top tier. The portion sizes are great! People might say this is a take out only but this is exactly what a normal Thai restaurant looks like and how people go and sit in a restaurant. Try it out peeps!

Excellent food. A lot smaller than we expected. They only have three tables spots and most people just use this plsce for take-out. Food was very fresh and great portions. I will definitely return!

When I tell you the spring roll is the freshest, most delicious spring roll I’ve had in my life, I mean it! I’ll absolutely be coming back again!

Hidden Gem of Flavor in Our Town
I’ve now had the pleasure of dining at this small, family-owned Thai restaurant twice, and each visit has left me impressed. It’s rare to find a place around here that offers such fresh, flavorful food and generous portions. The restaurant itself is cozy, impeccably clean, and exudes a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
The service is top-notch, with the staff always making sure you’re taken care of. But what really stands out is the food. Every dish I’ve tried has been bursting with authentic flavors, from perfectly balanced spices to the freshness of the ingredients. I’ve had the chance to try two different dishes, and both were fantastic—large portions that left me satisfied but still craving more.
If you’re looking for a great meal and friendly service, this spot is a must-visit. It’s refreshing to have a place like this in town, and I can’t wait to come back and explore more of the menu. Highly recommended!

Small cozy dining area. Cute atmosphere. Very hole in the wall vibe. The food was delicious!! We got the pad thai at a level 2. The heat was noticeable but not overwhelming. The sauce was excellent and it was a generous portion. We also got the Chow Main level 3. It much spicier but very flavorful. The Thai Tea was amazing! The Crazy Fruit Mix was really good but a little too sweet for my tastes, next time I'll ask for half sweet. Overall we enjoyed the experience and plan to come back to try more on the menu!

I’m leaving this review simply because Lucky Thai in Herriman genuinely deserves it. I’ve been back multiple times and not once have they ever asked me to leave a review or tried to promote themselves to me, which honestly feels rare these days. The food and experience speak for themselves.
I’ve tried several different dishes over time and I truly love everything about this place. The flavors are consistently amazing, the portions are generous, the prices feel completely worth it, and the people working there are always kind and welcoming. It’s one of those restaurants where you can tell they genuinely care about the quality of what they’re serving.
A few of my personal favorites are the fresh spring rolls, red curry, drunken noodles, and the mango sticky rice. Every single one has been so flavorful and satisfying every time I’ve ordered them.
Lucky Thai has become one of my go-to spots because it’s reliable, delicious, and always feels worth the money. Highly recommend supporting this local restaurant if you’re in the area!
The only reason I took off one star from the Atmosphere subsection is that the inside is small and might not have space; however, every time I have been in there it has been super clean.
